How would you know if we are? Being Black is not your experience so you have absolutely NO authority to say whether or not it is true. Any RATIONAL person would take my 47 years experience in Black skin to your ZERO any time. Oh, and when you have your car surrounded by Klassen because you took a wrong turn in your new town and drove past their march at a state Capitol, or shot at and called the n-word because you dared to visit a courthouse where a historic case took place, or have nonblack strangers feel they have an unmitigated right to touch your face and hair or child without your permission because the felt they had a right to — because society tells them that they do, THEN tell me what it’s like being Black and treated with equity. In the meantime, keep showing that fragility and crying those tears!
